Film 101 Workshop

Some of the greatest stories told have come from the lives of youth just like us. If you’re interested in telling your story through film come out to SEYA’s free Film 101 workshop on Wednesday July 27! From 6:00pm – 8:00pm you will learn about the basics of  adapting your story to film, and how to effectively communicate your story’s message to your audience.

For the workshop we have invited film creation expert Tara Woodbury. Tara has over nine years of experience in creative education, content creation, communications and marketing. She is currently working as the Program Director for City Life Film Project, a brainchild of Temple Street Productions and the Remix Project with a mandate to support at-risk youth in filmmaking. She has also been involved in helping out with SEYA’s first documentary film!

All youth 14 -19 are welcome to join us at Lamp Community Health Centre at 185 Fifth Street July 27th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
