Volunteer Opportunities:

For a  current list of volunteer recruitment ads, please visit: Volunteer Toronto

LAMP Volunteers work in many different areas. They may serve on one of our committees or work directly in our program areas. Volunteers are tutors helping adults in our Adult Learning Program, parents helping other parents in our Early Years Centre, youth leaders in the R.A.Y. or S.E.Y.A. programs, office assistants, and event planners. Volunteers also help in Health Promotion activities and advocacy initiatives.

Student opportunities:
LAMP's youth programs are a great place for high school students to complete their community service hours. LAMP also offers placement opportunities for post secondary students.

How do I find out more about volunteering with LAMP?

Come out to one of our monthly Volunteer Information Sessions to learn about the organization, volunteering, and have your questions answered! All sessions are on Thursday evenings at 6:30-8:30pm at 185-5th Street. Future sessions:  Sept 8, Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15, 2016 and Jan 19, Feb 16, Mar 16, Apr 20, May 18 and Jun 15, 2017.

Information Sessions are where you will find out about LAMP, its programs and the important role volunteers play in helping LAMP create a healthy community.  If you are unsure where your time and skills would be best matched, the information session will outline available opportunities at LAMP C.H.C.  For more information, please contact Therese Stewart at volunteering@lampchc.org or call 416-252-6471, Ext. #234. If you are sending an email please use 'LAMP Volunteering' as the subject.
