Film 101 Part II: Feat. Emmy-award winning director Paul Saltzman

Listen up aspiring and amateur youth film makers because on Friday at 2 pm SEYA/LAMP is extremely excited to feature 2 time Emmy-award winning director Paul Saltzman at our next Film 101 Workshop. At this free workshop you will get an opportunity to learn about all the essential steps involved in creating your own film, as well as get some professional advice on how to get across your message to your audience.  You'll also get a chance to ask Paul about any specific questions you have about this exciting industry.

Throughout his career Paul has worked on over 300 films and been involved in every step of production including, directing, writing, editing, cinematography, and sound editing. One of his most incredible productions is the documentary Prom Night In Mississippi.  The critically acclaimed film details Morgan Freeman's efforts in 2008 to promote Charleston High School's first-ever racially integrated prom.

The youth workshop will be taking place at Remix located at 2 Pardee Ave, Suite 201, Toronto. All youth are welcome! Please RSVP to Jasmin at 416-252-6471 ext. 308. Spaces are limited.
