The Fashion Exchange Program

The Fashion Exchange program trains participants to work in either FASHION FIT or POWER SEWING. In Fashion Fit you learn to recognize good clothing fit, fit problems and how to correct them. In Power Sewing you learn to operate sewing equipment and to assemble garments for production.

· Program content based on input from industry and George Brown College’s School of Fashion Studies.
· Program graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion from George Brown College.
· Industry work placement will be offered.
· You must be BETWEEN THE AGES OF
18 AND 29 to qualify.
· Program starts January 2016.
THIS PROGRAM WILL PREPARE YOU FOR
· Entry level employment in retail stores, alteration shops & apparel factories.
· Work shift schedules vary throughout the day.
· Starting pay range $11.00 - $16.00 per hour.
