Student opportunities:
This is a great opportunity for high school students to complete their co-op placements and community service hours.
How do I volunteer?
Information Session are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30-8pm @ LAMP (except December). The interview will be conducted by the Volunteer Coordinator of the Program you are interested in. If you are unsure where your time and skills would be best matched, the information session will outline available opportunities at LAMP C.H.C. First, you complete an application form. Then you get an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator, who also does a background check. Other Volunteer Opportunities:
Join a committee or a community action group. You can get involved with committees working on community relations and membership, fundraising, advocacy, working to secure more affordable housing in our community, working to improve the quality of life for children, youth and their families, etc… There are many opportunities and partnerships we support.
