By donating money to LAMP Community Health Center you support the work we do at the program level. You are also investing directly into your community. Many of our services are only partially funded by government or other sources. That means we have to fundraise the rest. Our breakfast programs currently need 50 thousand dollars each year in addition to government and foundation support. Our Adult literacy program has helped 50 Lakeshore residents this year with basic reading, writing and math skills. As a result of this service, these clients are now ready to pursue jobs and their life ambitions. This program needs substantial fundraising, 20 thousand dollars each year to supplement government funding. Our youth programs provide safe and supportive social, recreational, educational and cultural programming to hundreds of local youth each year. These programs combined need to raise almost 100 thousand dollars each year to pay for supplies, programming space, and professional staff who can promote positive healthy living. ASK! Provides community information, an emergency food bank, income tax and legal clinics, and immigrant and refugee services. This department needs substantial financial help every year to meet the growing needs of our community.
